Welcome to Travel Memories

This site is dedicated to all my past and future travels. In the broadest sense… Here I will keep track of my experiences in new countries, cities, regions as well as new visits to Hard Rock Cafes and UNESCO world heritage sites.

I am not a full time (professional) travel blogger. I am just someone who loves to see new places. In my own country (The Netherlands), or in other countries around the globe. And share my experiences.

Now, I always felt the need to somehow record these experiences. I used to make scrapbooks from places (holidays) I went to. Collecting entrance tickets, city plans, foreign money etc. All with the purpose to make an ultimate photo/scrapbook to relive the memory whenever I wanted but since this ‘method’ is a bit outdated… I stoped doing this. Thinking about new ways to make a more ‘modern’ version of these scrapbooks I decided to make a website on which I could keep track of all the experiences… all in one place. Not just some books on a shelf in a room where no one ever sees them. So here we are, I hope you enjoy visiting my site as much as I enjoy creating it.

So in the end, I managed to create my own website and I hope to trigger the traveller in you and provide you with ideas, tips, impressions and what so ever about places I’ve been so far.
